Daniel Callahan is a multimedia artist and designer living in Roxbury MA. In his work, Daniel looks to reestablish the innate connection between our individual and collective humanity and the universe that surrounds it. His work seeks to bridge the gap between art, artist, observer and environment.
While his mediums are in constant flux and range from drawing to painting to music, to animation, video and performance, what is constant is his aim to create fully immersing, sensory stimulating experiences that are participatory in nature.
Daniel is co-founder of artist collective Fear & Fancy out of Oakland CA, a member of the Traditions Remixed artist collective in Boston and a graduate of the Pennsylvania School of Design, where he studied animation and africana studies and received the Fine Arts Chair Award for outstanding work In a senior thesis exhibit.
